i am not sure why you would have a problem with your husband going to a bar or lounge, but since you did ask he should stop or ask a reason as to why you want him to stop.

may we ask a reason why?

I agree with a lot of the answers already posted.  Just coz he is at a bar, doesn't mean he is on the pull, he is just chilling out after a long day or whatever, if you trust him, there shouldn't be an issue!

And the problem would be? I personally think that just because you marry someone, it does not enable you to tell them what to do and where to go.

Hopefully, you married someone you trust. So if you trust him, why is there an issue with him going to a bar? He is a grown man. If he's going to cheat, it dosent matter if he goes to bars or not., he will find a way.

Marriage is not the ownership of one another. Would you tell your best friend where to go and what to do? I doubt it, so try to treat your husband with the same respect.

Besides, there is nothing wrong with him killing time in a bar.

(Just because a guy is in a bar doesn't mean he's trying to, or is able to score with stray poon).

Has he given you a reason to not trust him?

He could choose to lie about his whereabouts.

Has he given you a reason to be mistrusting and controlling?

There are many reasons to go to a bar that have nothing to do with hooking up for s*x. Especially because he is out of town, he may be lonely and wants to sit at the bar and have a beer and some conversation with someone, like other men.

I suggest you ask him why he likes to go and what he does there. It may put your mind at ease.
