Question:

My husbands Buell Motorcycle is a 2008 but the spark plugs keep going bad.What could be causing this?

My husband hasn't had his Buell Harley Davidson no time but if he doesn't change the plugs every other week it wants to spit and spuder!Help!

  1. ok this could be 1 of 2 possible problems.

    First His spark plug could be fouling or "going bad" due to he might run the engine for about a minute or two that will cause the plug to foul. Also running the RPM's (Rotation Per Mintue) to Low if you run the Rpms to low it will cause the plug to foul quick. Just crank it back a couple of times to blow acess gasoline out.

    Second, His carb. could be sending to much gas to the engine which would cause the plug to foul and for it to "sputter."

    Also i would advise turning the gas Lever Off so gas does not flow into the engine while it is not in use.

  2. Either the engine is running too rich or the rings are worn out or too loose or he needs a hotter firing spark plug.
