My husbands dad and step mom just moved out of state...he wants to visit them and i do not want to go?

he has said that he and his father will be playing golf the whole time and that i will be hanging out with the step mom which she is nice but i dont know her that well.......i will be spending all day with her and im not comfortable with that......also we have 4 kids that i dont want to leave.....gramma of course will keep them with no problems.....but i dont want to go.....i feel uncomfortable being with the step mom that long and uncomfortable to be away from my kids...............hes a little irritated over it.....but I DO NOT WANT TO GO!.....this trip will last thur-sun....and like i said ....it will be golf all those days.....sometimes 2 times a day.....i have to stay with the step mom...................am i being unreasonable?

Find something that absolutely needs you to stay behind and take care of it, a chore or some other pressing reason.

It's only 4 days. Make your husband happy & go.  It'll give you a short break from the kids & a chance to get to know step mom-in-law.  Who knows?  You might have a good time (if you go w/the right attitude!)  Marriage is a compromise & your husband is NOT being unreasonable in wanting to visit his dad.  You're not being unreasonable either - but neither are you being very understanding or supportive.  How would you feel if your positions were reversed?

You are being a little bit unreasonable, it's just for a couple of days, and your kids will be alright without you.

If you go with your husband, he will owe you, remember.
