  1. switch the hold button on and then off, then hold the menu and select button down until u see the apple logp

  2. Reset it.

You can do this by holding down the center and menu buttons at the same time. Hod it until it resets (around 5 seconds).

  3. tr holding down the middle button and the menu(or the pause/play button) button while its connected to the computer....

  4. Have you tried reseting it? If you haven't, you should. My iPod Nano 3rd gen. froze after I took it out of the computer and I reseted it. (to reset; slide the hold switch to hold and back again, then hold the menu and middle buttons for 6-10 seconds)

  5. hold down the menu button and center circle both at the same time for about 30 seconds maybe a minute. if it doesnt work do it again and it should unfreeze

  6. give it some time to melt. if it doesnt, contact apple support
