I have a 3rd gen nano and it's not registering in my iTunes menu.

  1. try 2 charge ur i pod till it says compleat then hook it up to itunes and it should work


  2. reset your ipod and thats all to it.

  3. mine did that, but when i restarted the computer it seemed to work.
