My iPod will no longer sync?

I recently synced my iPod onto someone else's iTunes, losing my own songs. I'm now trying to get my own songs back, but every time I sync, it says "Sync Complete, You may disconnect" or whatever, and then I still have the old songs, not the new ones.

You will need to sync manually. When you sync your ipod on itunes, check the box: manually manage songs and video. but, the enable disk will apply (don't worry about that). you will need to click apply. (some ipods will say connecting). now you will need to drag your songs on the ipod icon or name on the device. if you want to drag all your music, press Ctrl + Alt on PC. Then drag all your music on your ipod icon or name on the device. I Hope This Helps :) if you still need help, email me.
