My iPod won't hold its charge!?

When i plug my iPod in it says its completely charged, but as soon as i unplug it the battery instantly dies. i don't know whats wrong with it. HELP ME! =[

that happened to me and i took my ipod into an apple store and they can check it out mine was water damaged so the said that if you recycle it you can get a 10 or 15% discount go get it checked out.

Okay, I don't know if this will help you but there is obviously something wrong with your iPod. I can only think of it being a technical problem, maybe you should call the manufacturers and see if you can send it to them to get fixed (I know some of my friends have done this).Also, doesn't it have some sort of warranty? Check on that. And a reason why it might be happening is maybe you've done something to it..? Or maybe the battery depends too much on the charge, that happens sometimes when you leave things charging for a long time, they depend on it after a while.
