My icemaker wont make ice?

Its brand new. I emptied it out completely one hot day to fill my dogs water bowl, now it wont make ice, but the dispenser is still operating. I tried raising the temp, and resetting the unit, stil no cubes...I'm upset,this fridge cost $1800.Any ideas?

did you accidently turn it off?... is the 'bar' raised up?... that shuts mine down.....how about a kink in the water line?....

If all else has failed try to call the Maytag guy or whoever brand name it is it probably has a 30-90 day warranty on it at least. They should come out and at least look at it for free. If you need another part it will probably still be covered in the manufactures warranty. If you have a strong guy that could come over and pull it out the water cord that runs behind it could be kinked!

Mine did the same thing about a month ago and I found out the hose that puts the water in to make the ice had a slit in it and the water was on the floor behind the fridge. Maybe that is your problem too. Also if the bar inside the icemaker is left up it won't allow ice to drop so make sure the bar is down.
