  1. Fix the timer. No permanent harm has been done.

  2. Some plants can go with 24 hours light ,that is what they get in Alaska during the summer.

So one time is not gonna give them a nervous breakdown .

Tomatoes need 4 hours sleep time .

    16 hours is a good time .

fix the timer or switch the light of manually .like they did in the time before timers.

  3. so long as the plants have an ample water supply of water this will most likely be beneficial for the plants as it will allow them to photosynthesise for longer allowing better growth.

however some plants such as cactus (c4 type plants i think?) may start to get a bit sickly if you keep doing this as they wouldn't get a chance to release the Co2 they store.

the only negative effect that are likely however is that there flowering pattern my become upset and start flowing at night, but this will so right itself anyway.

in conclusion just keep up fertiliser and water levels.
