  1. Don't worry, eyes are clever things, the eyelash will not be a problem. It will come out soon. However if you are really worried, phone your local GP.

  2. Is it bothering her?  Her tears should wash it out.  (Normal tearing, not necessarily crying.)

If it doesn't come out on its own and is bothering her, give the ped a call.

  3. When she cries it will flush out on its own. Dont try and get it your self, you can scratch her eye with the eye lash. (I did it about a month ago trying to get an eye lash out in the dark with my finger I should have just flushed it with water, it was the most painful thing ever) but if you ever think an eyelash is stuck call your doc and ask if you can use saline solution, or water and flush her eye out.

  4. When she cries it will come out if it hasn't already.  Just drop  a tiny bit of water in that eye.  If it doesn't make her cry it will potentially work the hair out.

  5. No it won't stay forever.  It may have slid under her eye lid.  Just keep watching for it, but I wouldn't dig around trying to find it.

  6. Perhaps her eye will tear up and it will come out on its own. Why don't you try dialing her pediatrician's office? Or is that too hard to do? Why the heck would you trust complete strangers to give you advice for your baby?

  7. don't worry it will come out when she cries..it happened to my son a few times.. i freaked out too..

  8. every time you blink your eyes are cleaning themselves and the discharge in your eye is just that it has cleaned gunk out of your eye.. it will come out on its own

  9. take her in to urgent care.

  10. It will work itself out.  Don't worry.

  11. It probably popped back into place

  12. If she doesn't seem troubled by it, don't worry. Just keep an eye on her and make sure she's not running a fever and her vision isn't changed. She should be fine.

  13. Its fine it happens to me all the time it will come back around to the front later and then rub her eye to the side it doesn't matter wich one then rub it all the way out if you still can't get it out then get it all the way to the side and get a qtip to get it out.

  14. don;t mess with it, it will come out and its not gonna hurt anything.

  15. It's impossible for anything to get stuck behind the eyeball.  She might have blinked it out and you just didn't see it.  If it's still in there, it will eventually work itself out with tears.  It won't hurt her, don't worry!

  16. An eyelash in her eye is unlikely to hurt her.  This likely happens to you all of the time, you just don't notice it.

Call your pediatrician if you are really concerned but I wouldn't worry about it.

  17. OK Mom ... Relax ... its an eyelash .... the tearduct will lubricate the eye (its a way of flushing all icky stuff out of the eyeball ... its ok .... i have been there too .. your infant will be fine ...

  18. When you blink, it would probably have pushed the eyelash under the bottom eyelid. You wont be able to see it, and the infant wont be able to feel it. It may stay there, but it most likely will come out naturally. You shouldn't try to remove it, as it will probably result in damaging heir eye. If your really concerned, go see your GP.
