Now I don't drive the car neither is it sitting on the city streets. The car sits in my garage. Reason for the insurance laps and registration suspended because I broke the rear end to my car and was not able to drive the car. I don't owe the insurance company no money. I drive trucks for a living, and was away the car was broke not on city streets so i didn't think i was doing anything wrong

  1. By not letting your insurance lapse.  But since you did, you wait the 90 days.  Obviously you didn't contact the insurance and notify them you weren't using the car, and do whatever needed to be done in that regard, but instead just let it lapse, (not laps) at which time they notified the state and they, in turn, suspended your registration.
