My internal microphone not working on my laptop

HI there ... I have Toshiba Satellite M55 S329 and i just formated and my audio card drives me nuts i can hear sounds but my microphone its not working and when i check the audio mixer it on Mute , i turn on again its not working i test it wont give me any thing ... can u help me pls i gor Realtek ac97 audio drivers right now i got them at toshiba website by my model..
