i'm on firefox right now. I want to get back on internet explorer but it isn't working.. everytime i click on it, a blank white page keeps showing instead. The address bar is there... but it wont allow me to go on any website.. i tried clicking on internet options.. but nothing shows up..Its all just blank. there are only 5 icons on the menu bar... which is "home", "no feeds detached to this page", "print", "page" and "tools"... Nothing works when i click on it.. do you have any idea what is the problem or what i can do to fix it..

Thanks in advance

  1. Is your modem on?

  2. Uninstall it and use only Firefox - it's a much safer browser. Run antivirus, malware and adware scans to see if you have a virus.

If it's a connectivity issue due to malware, spyware removal that removed other necessary files, you can download Winsock XP Fix and if that doesn't work then, LSPFix.exe

  3. upgrade it to the latest version.

Need Free Web Hosting? Go here http://www.000webhost.com/62593.html

  4. Go to Tools-> internet options-> and attempt to  re-setup your connection. Make sure that your network cable is connected(if you are using a network card for internet connectivity) If you are using a USB connector for internet make sure it is connected. You may also want to do an ip config renew and release. follow step below:

    START

    RUN

type cmd (this will launch a command prompt)

type ipconfig(hit the spacebar once) / release

type ipconfig(hit the spacebar once) / renew

this should release and renew your IP address so that you can clear your old address and get a new one from your router.

If that does not work and you use a cable modem follow the instructions below:

unplug the cable modem for 3 minutes and then plug it back in.

reboot your computer and try to connect to the internet.

    Good luck

  5. I dont know what your problem is , but i have a similar  error except on mine it says cannot find "cannot find null,be sure you have typed in correct address"
