My internet explorer won't work!? Can anyone help me?

O.K. so I've tried getting into it from all sorts of ways but it won't open.

I have firefox already but I prefer Internet explorer because my firefox always seems to say you can't watch this, install missing plug-ins but when I click it then I click next is says done... no plug-ins were installed. I have all the adobe to watch media on IE so can anyone help me with either problem?

May be security programs - firewall, antivirus, antispy etc. is blocking the installation of plug-in for the Firefox. You may try reinstalling the plug-ins after temporarily disabling the security programs.

You should elaborate more to get help for IE - what the problem is with IE. Is there any error message?

After reading your additional info:

Try Control Panel/Add Remove Program/Add Remove Windows Components the deselect the Internet Explorer. Then click on Next. Restart the computer and repeat the same procedure, this time selecting the Internet Explorer.

Hmm, do you have Flash? Maybe you should instal DIVX. <--You can watch anything online with that.

Ok, assume you are clicking on the desktop icon, and it won't open IE.

What does it do?

Look in your file directory in "Program Files" for directory called "Internet Explorer". Open that. There should be several files there, including one called "iexplore.exe"

Double click on that file. If all is well, IE will open and start.

If not, you got problems.
