My internet is messed up, help?

why does my internet explorer keep sutting off at random times when im using it??? Its probably some kind of virus, how do i make it stop? what do i need to do?

its getting really annoying when i click stuff it just closes it self and i cant finish anything!

uninstall and reinstall, if that fails switch to firefox http://imperviouscomputer.com

Laura, simply try restarting your computer

If this fails to solve your problem, then step 2:

Start>Accessories>System Tools> and then Restore back to the date previous to the problem, then Restart

This way you are troubleshooting with a clean slate

Note, this does not remove documents, but basically resets your Registry Keys back to a previous date

go to msn.com and get a free 90 day trial of One Care.  Download it.  It is a spy-ware and anti-virus program.  DO NOT RESTORE YOUR PC!  You will lose everything you put on your computer...  pics, mp3s', etc.

I use this program myself and it is great.

your computer infected ad-ware, disconnect your system from the internet, reboot your computer in safe-mode (hit F8 continuously). goto "start" > "run" > type "msconfig" > "startup" tab > uncheck all the box to disable all the starup. reboot your computer, install the antivirus and scan your computer.
