My internet keeps shutting down? Would a new modem help?

I can't access certain sites without my internet going down. The DSL light just starts to flash and I can't go anywhere.

I can't go on myspace or myspacemusic, some facebook pages are okay, but some shut it down, some blogs will make it go down too (this is my friends and family and nothing bad is on there). Is it too much info for the modem (in which case, I would just ask the provider for a new modem?)

If your connection drops and DSL light starts flashing. Meaning, you're having intermittent signals issue. It could not be a modem issue but it is still possible, contact your ISP provider first to run some tests and they'll surely know how to fix your problem since the problem is really on their end.

DSL light blinking means the DSL modem lost sync with the provider.  Nothing to do with the sight your visiting.  Call the support number for the ISP.
