  1. then how are you on this website?

[EDIT] Try unplugging the router for a few seconds and then plugging it back in. That always works for me. If not, maybe you should try buying a new router? [/EDIT]

  2. lol clearly you're connected to the internet if you posted a question.

  3. are you blond by chance i mean you asked a question which requires an internet connection

  4. Go to computerhope.com

they have helped me many times.

Have you scanned this laptop for viruses and things?

  5. OK. lets think about this....... you cant be here if you are not on the internet.... and here you are.... so therefore you must be connected.. right??

  6. call your comptuer company

  7. Hey, this might help you. Call the customer service of Linksys in order for them to troubleshoot your internet connection. They have agents that can technically guide you what to do.

  8. hahah

    its seems to be worrkin

    you posted this up

  9. your obviously on it if you just asked a question on yahoo.

  10. Don't Worry. How Strong OF A Signal Do U Have From The Linksys Router?, U Might Need An IP Address (Found on The Router In Parentheses), And U Also Have To Have At Least 3 Bars. Hope This Helps.

  11. lol alkaholic has a point, it could just be that your computer connects through a different program or your looking at a different connection icon cause i know my computer has about 4 different ones, and i use think vantage to connect so they all say I'm disconnected even though, as you can see, I am connected

also, i would suggest that you don't press the "reset" button like the last guy said. it resets ALL of the settings and you have to do a bunch of crazy stuff to get it to work again (it doesn't always do it but you might as well not take the chance) to reset it you have to unplug then replug it in, that way it keeps all of your settings. even though that doesn't sound like the problem.

  12. try taking out the connection, restart. or if it doesn't work turn of the wireless router and turn it back on again or does Ur laptop have a wlan switch

  13. 1. hold down the "reset" button on the back of the router (you'll need a pen for this to reach the button-- i have a linksy router too BTW)

    2. that could fix your problem. if not, wait a minute and a "linksy router alert" should pop up on the computer screen

    3. follow the instructions there, and wallah (basically u just hit the "next" button a bunch of time)

    best of luck!

  14. Stop stealing other people's connection!!   Call an internet company and figure it out.

  15. For starters try shutting everything down, including the router and modem.  Wait a min.  then fire it all back up.

If thats not the problem, add additional details that you've done the above and I'll help you out from there.  I had similar problem with my linksys router.

EDIT:  Did you try the part about putting a pin in your router and hold it for 30 secs???  This will reset the router to its default settings.... Try this and come back.  If this doesn't work we will have to enter your IP address into  YOUR browsers address bar with only the router hooked up to see your current router settings.
