is asking to bring pay stubs for the past 2 months and my husband ( the petitioner/sponsor) gets paid every 2 weeks. So can I just bring his last 4 pay stubs (that's 2 months of pay stubs in his case). Or I have to bring 8 pay stubs?

  1. Bring as much supportive evidence as you can. However, you should have already mailed all of this with your application.

The interview is to make sure that your marriage is bona fide(in good faith),not to prove income.

The Petition for Alien Relative, that you filed before filing for Permanent Residence, is the one who requires proof of sponsor's income.

  2. take couple more, it will not hurt. If you take less and they ask for more...you'll have to reschedule for another day.

  3. That should be plenty. Be more concerned about taking enough evidence proving that you are a real marriage. Copies of bills under both your names, bank account statements, pictures, etc. Review with your spouse how you two met, how long you dated, who proposed, and so on. Review as much as possible. Good Luck.
