Question:

My invited users are having difficulty joining my group?

My group is restricted, so I have to approve all new applicants. But my assumption was that if I invited someone, they could join directly. Can I add someone directly into the group without having to 'invite' them first?

  1. Here is how you can add a member directly to your group:

  2. they should be able to join directly after filling out the membership page. invites generally are suppose to by-pass your approval, the idea is you're pre- apporving them by sending the invite.

you can add anyone as long as you have their permission, but their ID wont be linked to the membership, only e-mail will be. instead of an invite I'd suggest sending them the direct link from your browser of your group, and they can then click the great big blue Join This Group tab on the right.

How can I directly add (not invite) members to my group?
