  1. Hold menu and the middle botton (the circle) for a while. See if anything happens.

  2. I press play/pause a couple of times and then try it, and it normally works. If you're still having as many problems as it sounds like you are, take it to the representatives at Apple and they will help you, especially if it is under warranty. Mine, a few years ago had a broken 'hold' switch and when I took it in under warranty, they replaced it! pretty cool. Anyway, good luck!

  3. This has happened to me,

Just let it run out of battery ( The machine will have frozen)

Its like a computer crashing but the ipods system fails.

If it carries on you should get it fixed because they will eventually just break down all together.

  4. This happened to me before...Actually instead my I-pod froze..What i did was go to the apple store and they reset it for me and that worked..So go to the apple store at your local mall...I mean thats all you can do if you tried everything! And if whatever they do doesnt work, then they should give you a used one as a replacement!

  5. Well... this is risky... but it works. You can open your ipod up and disconnect the hard drive and the battery... wait a minute then reconnect it and it should work fine. Be careful though, you need to google up some diagrams.

  6. Hold the ''up'' button and the center button at the same time. Worked for mine.

  7. to reset it hold down the middle button and the menu botton at the same time

it will reboot your ipod which often helps in turning it off

it works great for me i have to do it all the time

    good luck

  8. You can put the hold button on. Press Menu and the center button. When you charge it did you eject from itunes?

  9. Umm, are you taking the iPod out correctly when charging it?

Oh, and also, when  you reset it make sure to press the Menu button and the center button at the same time.

    Sorry, if I'm no help?

  10. call the apple people.
