My ipod album shows another album instead. How do I fix this?

I have an ipod touch and whenever I add an album artwork, another one shows up instead. (ex: Party Like a Rockstar has a picture of Miranda Cosgrove. HELP? what do i do!

Common problem! Apparently your ID tags seem to point to a similar but very different album description from the iTunes store and/or CDDB. This happens frequently when you import a CD and have iTunes "look up" the info and artwork. In iTunes you can add album artwork manually, which is what I would recommend. I usually Google the album title in an image search (or go directly to Amazon.com and search the album) and save an image (best quality I can find) to my computer. Then, in iTunes, you can select "get info" on your song (right click - get info) and a window will pop up and then you will see a tab at the right hand side saying "artwork" - click that and you'll see "add"  - it's pretty self explanatory from there. You can even drag an image file here too. There are a few programs out there that can automatically do these things too but I find they may, and frequently do, download wrong artwork and info. I like the manual method personally.
