  1. Sometimes this can happen because it was kept in a trouser pocket and urine leaked into the works. Are yo aware of having wet yourself while listening, maybe to some exciting music?

  2. Hmm are u sure the problem lays with in ur Ipod classic?

Because maybe it can be ur ipod ears.

U should put other ears in it and try if they still  sound distorted .

And go to the store u bought ur Ipod Classic from .

Or else go to apple.com im sure u can find a mail or phone number

so u can contact them =')

  3. I have an iPod nano and I have experienced similar difficulties. Try fully charging it and if that doesn't work try to return it to the store you bought it from or ask their customer support.

  4. the problem could be do to water damage or just bad earphones try a different pair of earphones if that doesnt work and the ipod is less that a year old go to the apple site and contact them under support.

  5. try restoring the ipod and try another pair of headphones.

try playing the music in itunes and see if that works.
