My ipod dropped and the screen won't come up should i go to the apple store so they can fix it?

The white screen won't even come on. What should i do?

go to the store and tell them "it stopped working. fix it."

Yeah, I'd leave out the dropping part ;-)

But first, try...

-Hooking it up to the computer again.  See if the computer recognizes it.  And let it charge for a few minutes.

-Hold the pause button and center button down (at the same time).  If the iPod is working, this should restart it, and the Apple icon will appear.

-Dropping it again, but from a higher height...

No, the last one was totally a joke.  A bad joke, but a joke none the less.  So please don't drop it again!
