My ipod has a virus from limewire?

Soo how do you take it off because it erased most of my songs. (i had 256 and now i have 52)

When you plug your ipod in there should be an option to restore it in itunes.

Use that, it will basically do a restore of the ipod OS and erase anything wrong with it aka the virus

You can format your ipod just like a hard drive. When you plug it in just go to My Computer and right click on your ipod and go to format. This will wipe it clean and you can start from scratch.

Ipods themselves can't be infected with a virus, but you can scan the ipod when it's plugged into your computer. If it's a virus and not a hardware failure, then it probably commands your computer to delete random songs.
