My ipod has stopped working, it won't even turn on.?

the screen is blank and won't turn on...it's not on hold, and I tried to reset it by pressing the middle button and the play button, that wont work and even when I plug it into the computer it still is a blank screen. it's like it's frozen. what should I do?

ok trigger the hold button on and off a few times. Then make sure it's not on hold. Then press the middle button and the menu button at the same time and wait till the apple logo comes up. Then when it comes up, let go of the two buttons and then your home screen should come up.
