My ipod keeps freezing? i need help to know how to get it working.?

i charged up my ipod last nyt, and this morning i went to listen to it and it froze :|... is it broke?

  1. I wouldn't say Its broken, iPods freeze up sumtimes, to fix it..

    hold the menu and center button for about 5-10 seconds until the apple logo appears

  2. When you connect an ipod to a non-apple dock it can sometimes cause a freeze needing a reset. hold down menu and centre button till apple logo appears.

    some players have had a automatic reset built into the firmware to avoid this in the latest firmware.

    try connecting your ipod to the computer when its on the internet and check the update as it may be there is an update that will avoid this. You will need to reset the ipod before connecting to the computer.

    if this still happens then the dock/audio system is not to spec and should be changed I had this on aJBL radial with ipod v5 until the 1.3 firmware was released not it auto resets to avoid the problem.

  3. 'Slide the Hold switch to HOLD and back again. Then press both the Menu and Centre buttons for about 6 seconds until the Apple logo appears'.

    My Ipod nano (3G) froze, its not a problem just follow the above instructions that I copied from the iPOD booklet.
