My ipod won't play my videos, but i get sound??

Question

so the videos are mp4 format and the sound for them play but all i get for video is a jpeg of the first thing in the movie EX: the paramount picture or a still frame of a scene...I downloaded aimersoft but have zero idea how to use it and its not very user friendly...But i dont know if thats even the prob...any ideas??

oo and i don't see why it would matter but they files are from limewire.. But the movie still plays in itunes on my computer...

That is because your video is not in MP4 format, when you download videos from limewire, make sure they are MP4 not jpeg or MP3
