My ipod wont restore! help

i restore it then it says it needs to restore again...i dont know what to do...why wont it restore?

Try holding down the home button and the power button at the same time, while connected to iTunes!

When the screen goes white or black whatever, let go of the power button but still hold on the home button. Then iTunes will know that it is on some kind of restore no data mode w.e

When iTunes has a pop up come up, release your finger or thumb from the home button. Then restore. :)
