My ipod wont turn on!!!??!?

I have a ipod nano 3rd generation and I just charged it this morning, went and watched a 5 minute podcast then I turned it off came backa little bit later and it wont turn on even when its not on "hold". what is wrong???

  1. try reseting it, if it doesn't work the battery is probably messed up. happened to me once. it started working again after 2 weeks but then stoped again.


  2. press the menu and the play button for 10 seconds the apply logo will appear it will be fine  

  3. maybe u have to let it charge alittle bit longer andd if that doesnt work try restarting it by...pressing down the middle button and the menu button at the same time. after a couple of seconds a apple that is black should come up. if nothing happens then...try doing it again.

  4. sounds like a dead ipod.

  5. Hold on the middle button and the top for 10 seconds until the apple shows up.

  6. not sure... try putting it in a power source and see if there's any reaction

  8. Here, plug it into the computer to see if it detects it.

    If not it's probably broken or out of battery. On the box it states that the battery will have to be replaced sooner or later, you can take it to an apple store or an authorized apple technology store to see what they can do.

  10. Connect it to itunes and reset the firmware.  

  11. It's probably out of battery power, try plugging it in to your computer or into a charger and see if it starts working.

  13. press the menu button and the middle button at the same time for about 5 seconds, this will restart it. If that doesnt work than take it in!

  17. Try and charge it. If that doesn't work try resetting it. If that doesn't work take it to the apple store and they can help you.
