  1. About normal.

  2. Who said your IQ was 96?  You could take five IQ tests and you'd get five different IQ scores.  Besides, IQ is just an "educated guess" regarding one's intelligence.  So, one has to be very careful how one uses the IQ score in evaluating someone.  It just INDICATES what one's potential is.

However, you also have to remember that an IQ score can be misapplied to a person.  Thomas Edison was considered "slow" and look how much he accomplished.  He was deaf in his left ear and, unfortunately, people thought he wasn't too smart.  Thomas Aquinas was call the "dumb ox" and yet became one of the greatest philosophers the world has ever known.  Nelson Rockefeller seemed "slow" until he was diagnosed as dyslexic.  Rockefell became Governor of New York and Vice-President of the United States.  Teddy Roosevelt couldn't learn much until he got glasses at age 12 or 13 (I forget which).  Then, as he said, "A whole new world opened up for him."

The moral of those stories?  Use what you have.  Who really know what you can do?  Normal is what's normal for you.  Don't compare yourself to anyone else.

Illegitimi non carborundum - Latin for "Don't let the bas***** get you down!"

  3. It's cool.   You should try to get older, though.
