My irresponsible teenage spending

Question

I have $20 from my allowance, I'd love to go out and splurge it on makeup at wal mart, because I don't really have any makeup besides one covergirl eyeshadow trio, but I want another eyeshadow. I feel kind of dumb spending my money on makeup though, because this could be used at THE MALL and I don't want to be broke. Also, I don't get allowace that often, and I probably won't get another allowance for a while because I just got $20. Once in a while if I do some chores and my parents see it and are impressed, they'll pay me. Should I just buy a couple makeup items and save my money or have fun and blow it!?

I'm getting my hair cut, and I'd also love to get some styling products to fix it up and a new magazine!

Or would it be best to try and save some

Well don't you already know whats gonna happen. all the older people will say save your money and the younger kids will say do whatever. i say that you will do with it what you want, good luck

My opinion would be to save your money so that you can by more when you get enough. Maybe consider babysitting or getting a summer job which would help you save some more money?

What i did was spend my allowance and then at my birthday and Christmas I save that money for trips. So spend allowance and save other money!!!!!!

Hey if you really want the makeup, get it, but if you save it, you can get something else later... best to get a job and make your own money

i know how it feels to want to buy so much stuff and spending it all. how old are you. you can get a job (full time and part time). you can start a babysitting service, pet sitting service, or car wash service. you can get a job as a cashier at a fast food place like jack in the box, a bakery, or ice cream shop. once you have save up some cash, you can buy more makeup and other stuff.

you can buy like the same makeup from the swap-meet they sell designer make up for very cheap

im 13 and i never get an allowence. every time i get money, i will put some away and give my self a little to spend, then every once in while not to often look back at the money u saved. then if u want to spend that u can. hope that helped!

i think you should save it, i feels really good when you save up a lot of money and then spend it all in one day! =] its worth the wait.
