My itunes froze with my ipod connected?

my internet always freezes when i open a million tabs, and i was looking up lyrics to put on my ipod touch, so i had the internet and itunes open. i finished editing the lyrics on there, but my itunes wont respond to anything i do. its fully charged now and its still connected to my computer! what do i do?? i've closed all the other applications, its just itunes thats frozen! (im on my brothers laptop now)

  1. close itunes using task manager (ctrl-alt-del) and force itunes to quit by selecting it from the list of programs the selecting end task.


  2. I'll take it as you use a Macintosh. Right?

    Just turn the computer off, hold the button down till it's off since it's frozen.

    It won't hurt the iPod, not one bit.

    Then when you turn it back on, finish all your uploading/syncing, but DO NOT open anything but iTunes, it may freeze it again.

    Once you're done, eject it.

    Never disconnect it before clicking 'eject', trust me. I have a very screwy iPod because of it.
