My itunes store isnt working!!?

When itunes loads it doesnt load the itunes store. it just said accessing the itunes store!? I have hearsd that you are suposed to download any new updates oin itunes, but i dont know if i shouold download the new itunes software or the new ipod software? I need an answer from someone who knows about this stuff. thanks:)

Try two things. First, download the latest iTunes. If that doesn't work, check for any firewalls, and either allow iTunes to pass through, or disable it.
