My janome is stuck on reverse

Question

I have a limited edition mechanical seewing machine that is stuck in reverse.when I bought the machine used th e reverse button seemed locked. when I pushed it it swemed to unlock and began sewing in reverse.Now the reverse button is loose and feels like it has come loose or off from the machine.everything runs perfect just in reverse can you help me?
