  1. TMJ...

  2. I would say it sounds like TMJ.  I had my dentist make me a mouth guard, my jaw still pops and makes noises but doesn't hurt.  If it starts to get sore I wear the mouth guard at night for 3 or 4 nights and it goes away and doesn't bother me.  As far as I know its not something that really goes away on its own, and as I am sure you can tell its surprisingly painful.

  3. it sounds like you have tmj which would cause your jaw to lock, click, deviate, pop, ect... you should see an oral surgeon to get an x-ray.

  4. Perhaps its your wisdom/molars that are applying the pressure that is located right below the ear when you chew. Check either with your primary doctor or dentist.

  5. might be TMJ have your parents call the dentist. In the mean time you should not be eating anything hard or chewy try soft foods that require little or no chewing like ice ream yogurt and the like.
