My 1999 jeep wrangler wont start. About a month ago it did the same thing, the key turns everything works but it just wont turn over. I came back about 2 hours later and it turned right over. This time its not even doing that. What could it be?

  1. sounds like a bad starter solenoid. follow the positive battery cable to the end and thats the starter solenoid.

  2. get the starter checked , if it's got a tooth missing , sometimes it will not start and then if it gets moved a bit it will catch.

see if it will start with a jump , if it does drive to a shop so they can check the charging system.

give the starter a whack with a wrench.

you say everything works , so i'm assuming the lights all work , radio, etc.

  3. Did you check if you have fuel going from the pump to the injectors? I would see if you have proper fuel pressure.

  4. Car engine was probly to hot

  5. Dead battery. Starter over heating I would check these first
