You might need an immigration lawyer.  The reason is this :

You can send resumes and applications to any company you want (in Canada or anywhere else in the world), but the Canadian company may not be allowed to hire you (because you are not a Canadian citizen).  

You need to worry about work-visa's which the company may or may not process for you.

Unfortunately, I know of a few people from other countries who arrive in Canada without a job and end up looking for work for months or years.  All the while, they have to pay for day to day living, learn the language/culture, and compete with born-in-Canada workers at the same time.

Think and prepare carefully before heading out here.  

If you have relatives in Canada (especially in Alberta), then definately you need to ask them for help at some point.  And, as I mentioned, get an immigration laywer or other professional to give you at least some preliminary advice.
