Indian top-order batsman, Gautam Gambhir, has reiterated his desire to help the team win by contributing with the bat rather than thinking about his ‘designation’.

Currently being asked the same question, the victorious KKR leader was again at his shrewd best, claiming that he is focused on his primary job, which is to score runs before settling down on his usual hypothesis that a captain is as good as his team.
"I don't go out in the middle thinking about my designation in the team. It doesn't bother me whether I am the captain or a vice-captain... My only job is to go on scoring runs and I try to do just that," Gambhir said on the sidelines of a practice session.
"If I am a good leader, it's just because of my team. Unless each and everyone chips in, a team can never do well as a unit," he added.
