My kangoo has a bhp of 68 can it be beefed up abit?

I have a renault kangoo with a bhp of 68 it's a 1.9 diesel and i was wondering if it can be beefed up. For my job i carry a water tank and when full it pulls abit so i was wanting to beef it up abit to compensate any help, advice would be greatly appreciated

  1. The 4x4 version of the Kangoo had a turbodiesel engine - 1.9dCi F9Qt, 80bhp.

    It should be possible (but not necessarily easy) to fit that engine - or indeed any other version of Renault's F8Q / F8Qt / F9Qt engine series, including the 130bhp F9Qt unit from the current Mégane.

    Remember that if you increase the power you will need to upgrade the transmission and driveshafts to cope.
