  1. Welcome to the wonderful world of 4 strokes...

  2. The  coil  might  be  hot..pour  cold  water  over  it  and  then  see  if  it  starts  more  easily.

If  so,  u  might  need  a  new  coil.

    good  luck

  3. what year model?  at some point in time, Kawasaki added a hot-start kit, which is better defined as a tip over kit ... if the bike was ever dropped (tipped) while hot, they were a bear to re-start.... so it could merely be an adjustment issue if your bike has the hot-start lever / kit???

likewise, if it's not something that simple, my next guess would be it's time to have the valves adjusted.  how many hours since last done???  shooting from memory on the KXF, should be checked / adjusted ever 10-12 hours of hard ride time or 15-20 hours of practice time...

was it always hard to start when hot, or just something that's recently started happening???

if it's always been hard to start when hot, might also be a jetting issue that needs some fine tuning...
