My kid's VCR shows the movies only in black and white-help!?

This is a fairly new VCR/dvd combo player. No matter what the movie is( b&w or Color movie) the movie only shows in black and white. Any ideas on what I can do? Thanks!

Hi elvisdan77,

Check your cables. Make sure they are plugged it properly.

Since the unit is new your heads should be clean but you never know if a speck of dirt is fouling up playback. If you have a VCR head cleaner run it & see what happens.

Last it the unit is new it is still under warranty. Exchange it for a new one.
