His class is trying to turn regular items into green items, where can I find a website that maybe I can say okay we have this material "A" and what is its green alternative?

  1. here's a great link

  2. There is the usual - put celery into water and add green food coloring to the water.  The celery absorbs the colored water and will become even greener.

If you're looking to take an item and make useful in another way, there are a couple different ideas.

    1.  Take an empty, clean and dry glass peanut butter jar or similar type food jar and turn it into something pretty and/or useful like a candle holder (must be glass), planter or storage container.

    2.  Take an empty, clean and dry soup can and turn it into something useful and/or decorative like a planter or storage container.

I hope this is enough to help you find your answer!

  3. How about all the different uses for egg cartons?  Here are a few sites that will give you ideas about that - bird feeder, make a Mancala game, etc.  Good luck and have fun with it.

  4. I kind of searched the internet and didn't have much luck!

    Sorry!!

  5. well just try searchin for scientific sites n look over there...well also try using acid, alkaline n litmus paper
