depends on his age. im 15 and my dad taught me and my sisters how to drive them on private property when we turned twelve. so far nothing has gone wrong, they are very dangerous but if he can learn and listen well there shouldnt be a problem. you should definateley learn how before him though!!

nothing is safe. did you teach your kids responsibility? restraint?  caution? those are the questions you need to answer for this one.

Let him go. Just make sure he can handle it and give him limits and stuff. Don't let him go flooring it. Teach him how light the controls are first. if he is a teen he is fine
