Question:

My kids brought something in from the rainfall collected in a empty plastic sandbox....they look like tadpoles

I remember finding these when I was little too...they are a quarter to a half a size a penny...black head clear to light green/white body with a split tail (like a fish)....what are these?

  2. it could be tadpoles or leaches idk for sure those could you post pictures

  3. They might be mosquito larvae!

  4. because they seem so large i'm going to go with a tadpole or baby frog, maybe a frog got in the sandbox and laid some eggs.

    if they were smaller I'd say they might be mosquitoes.
