  1. Mud and Dirt –

Scrape off as much of the excess as possible.  Soak in a laundry pre-treatment product for 30 minutes for a fresh stain, and up to 2 hours for an older, dried stain. Wash as normal and line dry. Repeat if necessary.

    Or

You can remove mud by first letting it dry thoroughly and brushing off as much as possible. Then you can rub the stain with Murphy´s Oil Soap, leave for 15 minutes, and rinse with cold water. Or, instead of the Murphy´s Oil Soap, you could use a solution of 1 tablespoon borax in a cup of water. If the spot persists, use an enzyme presoak, or soak the item in a gallon of water to which you´ve added a cup of ammonia (or use bleach if the items are white).

Another option to try is to slice a raw potato in half and rub the mud stain. Soak the item in cool water for a while, then launder as usual.

    Sweat Stains –

Pre-treat the area with an enzyme containing product and rub in well. Wash in the warmest water allowable for fabric. Air dry the item until you know that the stain has been removed.

  6. when my sister was in elementary school she accidentally got hit in the face with a basket ball (OUCH!) and it broke her nose. well of course, blood got all over her clothes. well we tried everything to get out the stain!! a teacher at her school taught us this trick:

use sometime of pretreating solution on the spot

    AND

    cover the area in salt.

let it sit for about 15 minutes and then wash it.

it sounds odd but i know that if it can get out dried blood it can get out anything!!

    good luck

    =)

  7. i use shout on the inside and outside of the stain and i use tide or gain detergent....but, to be honest kids will be kids and they are little only once...so to save yourself a ton of stress just try not to sweat the small stuff...allow them to play and get dirty and to make your job easy put them in PLAY clothes...this way its not a big deal if the stain comes out or not....keep a supply of play clothes on hand and just let them be kids....its not worth the stress of trying to keep them from getting good clothes dirty....save them for times they are not playing and being kids....relax and enjoy the kiddies....this season will be over before you can imagine :)

  8. I suggest soaking the clothes overnight in a bucket of water that has some washing soda (borax) or even baking soda if washing soda is not available.  Add a little detergent and let the clothes stay in there until you are ready to wash them.  If stains are very bad, you could also try laying the garments on a flat surface, and rubbing them with a scrubbing brush, it helps to break down the dirt.

  9. use SURF EXCEL ...................

  10. Ok i found this product called FOLEX they sell it at walmart. well it takes out everything.. I showered one day and i had a scratch on my arm from a previous day, well i guess i scrubbed it off in the shower, well unaware of that i reached in my closet and rubbed up against 4 of my boyfriends white silk shirts!!! i didnt notice until hours later!! the blood had dried, and in silk!! well the lable on the bottle says its safe to use on any fabric that can be dampened with water.. so i said well.. lets try it.. it worked and on silk. this stuff is non toxic, non magnetic. your stains wont come back.. go get some.. just dont wash the cloths before you treat them.. any stain that is put through the dryer is pretty much gonna stay there.. if its really bad use folex along with spray and wash..
