  1. i like the first girls idea

  2. V-8 Fusion Juice, Fruit Roll-Ups, Raisins, Canned Fruit in light syrup, Carrots or their favorite veggie with some ranch dip.

  3. Tesco do lunchbox ideas in the form of sticks that are like chews, i believ they are called fruit shots, or fruit shoots something like that, they would be in the granola bar section,.

Each stick contains the 5 aday needed, which is great and they taste  nice to and only have 61 calories a bar.

Failing that, you could also blend up fruit and make smoothie drinks for their lunch box, thats how i get  my fruit intake whilst pregnant as i dont eat near enouth fruit, my favourite is banana and strawberry, but you can add as many as you like.

Its also worth buying a blender that crushes ice to and you can then cut up fruit, especially bananas that are going brown and store them in the freezer ready, it also saves throwing away uneaten fruit, saving money, aswell as making it chilled to drink straight away.

  4. Buy those little fruit cups with the cherries in them. I know, lots of sugar, but at least they are getting SOME fruit.

Don't just buy those fruit snacks/treats. They are just candy.

Make trail mix with dried cranberries, raisins, dried bananas, mangoes, etc.

Bake muffins with blueberries, cranberries, raisins, dried apricots.

  5. Hide in their food...like peanut butter and banana sandwich. Yummy.

  6. Most kids love grapes. How about washing them off and including them in a zip bag.

Also if you have some time you could make some watermelon balls and put them in a little Thermos container.

Easy to peel mandarin oranges that you peel and put in a plastic bag would probably be good.

Kids don't like to spend a lot of time peeling.

Sliced apples in little bags are good, but kind of expensive.

You could try miniature cups of mandarin oranges or mandarin oranges in gelatin cups that they sell.

Alternatively you could freeze a 100 percent juice box and pack it in their lunch. A lot of kids are willing to drink their fruit.

  7. Put a lunchbox full of fruit and leave two spaces. One for a drink and one for a favorite food of theirs. The result is they'll eat what they want of the lunch then after a few days they'll be hungry. And just eat fruit and find out the fruit is alright to eat.

  8. how old are they? if they are under the age of 8 then maybe make colorful shapes out of the fruits? like a smiley face, or just w colorful salad might do,,just pour a little lemon juice on it to make sure they stay fresh, but only a little though, u dont want the fruits to be sour

  9. ideas:

    fruit salad

fruit like apples and peanut butter....

idk but there are some ideas...

  10. fruit and yogurt, apples and peanut butter, lemons with topped with sugar, strawberries

  11. get some "nice looking" fruit. I know its sounds a bit silly, but I would refuse to eat anything that grossed me out when i was little.

Try buying things like "roll ups" and healthy but yummy looking muesli bars. Maybe chopping the fruit up and keeping in a container so they can easily eat it and it won't go all yuck by lunch.

  12. Okay so they won't eat fruit at school.   What is wrong with them eating fruit at home? Like for snacks, breakfast even desserts?

  13. I take my kids to the fruit shop with me and let them choose whatever they like, then at home they help me cut it up and put it in the container, one they like that they have also chosen, they take this with a fork and it always gets eaten.

Also my son loves to take carrot, celery and cucumber sticks with a little bit of dip to dip them in.

Getting them involved in choosing and preparing their food really makes them want to eat it.

It's always a challenge though for every Mum I think so good luck :)
