  1. Get a repair man. That should be handeled by a pro.

  2. The pipe is clogged and since the dishwasher has a hose leading to the pipe, the water is finding a new place to go, right where you don't want it to go.

Snake it or pull the trap to see whats in there.

  3. I agree with sensible..  Usually the p-trap can be removed and the clog or whatever is causing the slow drainage can be removed with no problems.

I found one decent source (listed below) for help on finding the p-trap and correct tools if you need that kind of help.

If this seems to overwhelming I would suggest calling a plumber

  4. well you have 2 problems. first off you need to snake your drain. that will fix the clog. your 2nd problem is that you need an airgap on your dishwasher drain. that or at least raise the drain line higher than the lowest point on the sink so it will not flow back into the dishwasher.  actually the air gap is a code requirement

  5. maybe something is stuck in the sink, like hair or (stuff) but the easiest way to fix things is to call the experts.

  6. Remove the trap on the sink drain to see what is clogging it up. The dishwasher drain hose should be mounted with a loop that goes up as high as possible under the sink cabinet to prevent this.
