My kitten's 6 months old..?

and he just got outside. I took him out when he was really young, Can he still be an inside cat?

  1. It may be hard to get him to stay in if he has experienced the great outdoors but you need to stay firm on not letting him out.  He needs to be neutered at about 6 months so this should be your number one priority if you have not done it already.  You can use a spray bottle with water in it, if you catch him trying to get out spray him. This usually

    will deter him from any other mischief as well.  Just be diligent about not letting him out ever and don't give in.  The more he is out the more he will want to get out there.


  2. how many times as he been outside? If its just once or twice then he'll probably be fine but if his used to going outside often then it may take a while for him to realise his not to go out anymore.
