  1. if you havent gotten the tic out carefully but quickly pull it out and make sure you get the head. then if should be fine. my dog gets them all the time and hes fine! dont freak out its one tick! good luck!

  2. to get rid of my cats tick i heard this online and did it and it worked. you have to find the ticks and lite a match. hold the match close to the tick, but not close enough to set the fur on fire. the reason why the tick feeds on blood is because the blood has oxygen. fire needs oxygen to survive and will suck up the oxygen around the ticks area. when the tick has no oxygen, it will die. afterwards get some tweezers and pluck the tick out. throw it away or you could ask your vet to test the tick to see if it has any diseases that could have harmed your cat.

    hope i helped :)

  3. FRONTLINE.

You can get it at every Pet Shop.

It´s easy to apply, doesn´t irritate and it´s super effective.

  4.     Ticks aren't a big a deal as they are made out to be so don't freak out if you see one if your boy friend freaks out it's time for a new one on my dogs i like to wait for the tick to get a little bigger before I pull them out because I don't want to hurt their skin once they do grab the skin around the ticks head and pull if the animal cries a little don't worry you aren't hurting them that badly and your doing more good than harm if you were outside with your pet while they got this tick i suggest checking your own body you might have one as well and that is never a good thing. I know I have had my share! ;-)

  5. AAAHHHHH!! Dont use flea & tick meds on a baby that young. It can kill them. Like the last answer said, just make sure you pull the tick off. Yes its gross, but its the easiest answer until this baby is old enough to have frontline or advantage used on them. I think thats 6-8 weeks. you can buy a tube from your local vet. do NOT use over the counter stuff for cats. Honestly its not anywhere near as effective or safe. NEVER use dog flea & tick killer unless package says its safe for kittiesps if you very recently(hours) just used the dog shampoo, REWASH(hand soap or nothing) that baby & rinse him very very clean. If he starts to act sick or shaky call a vet immediately!
