  1. Check with the vet first, he will have a better idea of the situation than you, or anyone without medical training.  And will give you an honest evaluation of what were best to do for the cat.  I'll tell you what, though, fourteen years ago, we took in a kitten someone had kicked in the head.  He was bleeding from the nose and ears, and we figured the most we could do was keep him comforted till he died.

Result:  he's still around, and the sweetest little boy you could ever wish to find.

Kittens are amazingly resilient, like most young, so don't give up on him just yet.  But a trip to the vet should definitely be in order.  Quickly, before the swelling gets bad enough to be a problem in its own.

  2. You don't think a vet will be able to help, but people on Y!A can ?

  3. vet!!!!

  4. Well only the vet can tell you if they can help it. You should take the cat to the vet immediately, and if nothing else, end it's suffering.

  5. if i was you i would talk it to the vet and they should be able to tell you what is wrong and give it treatment. it might not be a happy ending but just think if that does happen it was for the best

  6. With out seeing the animal all I could think is that it seems as if the pet is not in good shape. I would take it to the vet to have it euthanized so it will not be in pain. I am so sorry that I don't have any better suggestions.

  7. Go NOW to the vet! Don't wait another minute. Animals cannot "tell you" when they are in pain. Please, do not wait!

  8. put it down i know it sounds mean but if he cracked his skull its gonna hurt him and he will be living in pain and if you love something you have to let it go

  9. The vet will definitely be able to help! Just doing nothing won't. His treatment may be expansive. You have to take him there ASAP. If you wait, he could die. Bleeding such as that can't be good. Good luck.

  10. Trust me, vets are trained for this stuff! But there is only so much a vet can do! If the vet feels it is best to put kitty out of it's pain, it is the right thing to do! The vet obviously doesn't want to do this for fun, otherwise he wouldn't have taken the job as a vet, to help animals. So do what the vet feels is right!

  11. Gee; your cat needs veterinary care, but you post on a blog.  Smart thinking.  Get it to the vet and now.  Plus why do you have kittens near dogs who can cause them harm?  Any head injury is an emergency; I would think you would get it care instead of asking on a blog.

Get your pet to the vet and get it there now.  Sounds like you don't have your pets best interest at heart.

  12. I agree with Lisa C,  but keep in mind vets can be hyper expensive if they try to save a kitten in serious condition,
